what a weekend. police band concert on friday evening, playing and emceeing is very hard work. went down really well and was an enjoyable evening.
skiing on saturday at the stubaier gletscher (pictures to follow). “junge solisten am podium” by the innStrumenti chamber orchestra was the evening’s entertainment on saturday.

saw this bike at the station in innsbruck this morning. i thought the idea was quite cool, appealing to everyone’s human nature to not steal a catholic vicar’s bike. however, the photo doesn’t show the lock on the rear wheel of the bike…

this is a picture my friend lucas brought back from barcelona when he visited there in april 2009. this picture really speaks to me. the spiral lines seem to add movement and lead you into the light, but the centre itself is totally static.
